Are You New Here?
Let us tell you a little about Brookside!
We're here for you.
Searching for a church to call home is a spiritual journey. When you join us here at Brookside, you will find a safe haven in which to rest your soul. We emphasize the theme “Everyone Belongs” at the start of every worship service. Our Holy Communion is an invitation for anyone and everyone to come to the table and receive the bread and cup. Wherever you find yourself, whether you consider yourself a Christian for life or a spiritual being who is wandering in the wilderness, you belong here.
Our music programs include all kinds of instruments: piano, organ, guitar, saxophone, ukulele, violin, brass, flute, drums, and bells. The adult choir is open to anyone who loves to sing. Our youth choir includes an opportunity to play in the Youth Bell Ensemble. Please bring your passion for music to the Hymn Sing each week!
Children of all ages are welcome to stay in church each week and participate in both the serving and receiving of Holy Communion. We have two Education Offerings each month:
*Spiritual Art through which the Bible stories are intertwined with art and science projects.
*Performing Arts that offer creative interpretations of the weekly Bible lessons while teaching skills in public speaking, worship leadership, and collaborative performance.
Adult Education opportunities are open to everyone. These offerings include Bible Studies, Book Groups, Spirituality Retreats, Occasional Yoga Classes, and Dramatic Readings.
Faith healing is woven through our scriptures. Rev. Laura will gladly work with individuals and couples to study Bible passages for healing and well-being.
If your need is simply to find a place to rest your weary soul, we are here for you.
