Hospital Visits
Because federal law greatly restricts the disclosure of patient
information by hospitals, the pastor and church office may not
know that a member of the church has been admitted to the hospital.
If you are hospitalized, and would like a visit from the pastor,
it is important that you (or a family member) notify the church
office as soon as possible. Call us at
669-2807. Remember,
hospitals no longer can provide this information to us.

Church Library
Find books for all ages encompassing a wide variety of topics.
Across from the Pastor's office, the self-serve library is open
during usual office hours and after Sunday worship.
Donation
If you would like to donate $25-30 for a hardcover book in memory of a loved one or to honor a special person or occasion, please click here book form for the paperwork and leave it in the Library mailbox by the church office, along with your check made out to Brookside Congregational Church, with “Library” noted on the memo line. Librarian Donna Moody will select the book and a bookplate will be affixed inside the book noting the dedication.
Got Church Cookbooks? The Library is looking for cookbooks from churches far and wide; if you have any to donate, you may leave them in the Library or its mailbox (near the church office).

Romanian
Orthodox Services
St. John of Suceava, Romanian Orthodox Church, holds Sunday Worship
in our Chapel at 10:00 a.m. It is a privilege to be able to serve the needs of a congregation
of people who have recently immigrated to the U. S. from Romania.
It is also, more importantly, a humbling experience to hear and
to observe the deep gratitude and respect they show for the opportunity
to worship God in their own language and in a sacred space.

Pastoral Counseling Services

Pastoral Counseling Services (PCS) offers psychotherapy, education, consultation and spiritual direction
as effective tools to solve problems. The second floor rooms in
Manning House and PCS's Annex in the Cottage behind the Thrift
Shop provide a warm and safe setting for individuals, couples
and families to receive treatment. PCS staff members also provide
many hours of Community Education that offers tools and preventive
strategies for life's persistent problems. The professional staff
of 25 consists of licensed psychotherapists (many of whom are
also ordained clergy), administration, development and a grief
educator.
Although PCS uses space at the Brookside facility, they are an independent entity from Brookside Congregational Church and any communication regarding counseling services, treatment, etc. should be communicated directly with them.
For specific information about their
services, or to set an appointment, please call 627-2702 or email
Joyce Herndon at jmh@pcs-nh.org
