The mission of the Women's Union is to unite the women of the church in effective work for the church, the community and the world. Through monies from the Thrift Shop, the Christmas Fair and other funds, we are able to support various missions and charitable organizations, and also help with some of the maintenance costs of the church and Manning House. Sponsored by the Women's Union as a fundraising event, the annual Christmas Fair is held in the Fall. Jewelry, white elephants, books, food items, antiques/collectibles and handcrafted goods are just some of the many items available to purchase. Many hands are needed to help make the fair a success. Contact Jodi del Sordo (485-5121) or Sally Sederquist (668-6917) for donations of books and baked goods, table rentals, or opportunities to volunteer.  Adult
FellowshipA Fisher Cats game, visit to the Currier, a trip on a scenic railroad, Boston Harbor Islands, a trip to the beach, hikes, a hockey game - these are just some of the activities being considered by the Fellowship Committee. In addition, we plan to enjoy each other's company at our annual Holiday House Tour in December and Progressive Supper in May. All
women of the church are cordially invited to join the Women's
Union, which meets the third Thursday of the month from September
through May. Our meetings start with a social time at 5:00 p.m.
in Fellowship Hall, followed by dinner at 5:30, a brief business
meeting, and a program of interest; we are usually through by
8:00 p.m.
